The Academy comes at the right time. A new generation of investors in the Netherlands is registering on the stock exchange. With the rise of online investment platforms and apps, investing is becoming increasingly accessible. As a result, investing is no longer the exclusive domain of experienced professionals but is accessible to a broader, younger audience. Especially since the pandemic and the associated lockdowns, many have taken the step to invest. Additionally, low savings rates often go hand in hand with a higher inflation level. In such situations, it may be more attractive to switch to investment methods that are less sensitive to inflation.
"With the introduction of the Freedom Academy by Freedom Finance Europe, we are taking an important step towards greater accessibility and education in the world of investing. Our free courses, developed by professionals, are designed to support both newcomers and experienced investors in enhancing their knowledge and skills in the stock market," says Nathan Civile, Head of Representative Office Netherlands.
The Freedom Academy consists of a basic course on the fundamental principles of investing, as well as an advanced course called "Options Trading." The latter primarily targets experienced investors who want to broaden their horizons in the stock market and make their investments more efficient. Additionally, there is another course for experienced investors who want to refine and supplement their existing knowledge.
After the official launch in 2021 of the new investment platform Freedom24 in the Benelux, Freedom Finance Europe opened a branch in Amsterdam earlier this year. This new branch is part of a strategy to open more offices in Europe to better respond to the specific needs of local markets.
