Yazen combines medication treatment with digital medical guidance and lifestyle interventions. The company positions itself as an alternative to traditional obesity care, in a healthcare system that is under pressure due to staff shortages and a growing demand for care.
'We see a lot of demand in the Netherlands for structured, measurable guidance,' says Nicole Diebels, country manager of Yazen Netherlands. 'The current system is only limitedly set up for that. Digital care makes it possible to continuously monitor patients and make timely adjustments, instead of treating reactively.'
