BIGSTER CHOSEN AS AUTO REVIEW CAR OF THE YEAR

The Dacia Bigster has been named Car of the Year 2025 by the editorial team of Auto Review. The Dutch automotive magazine makes an annual selection from all new models of that year. According to the editorial team, the Bigster even outshines more expensive models like the electric Mercedes-Benz CLA.

'After previously proving with the Jogger and the Duster that attractive does not necessarily have to be expensive, Dacia once again demonstrates this with the Bigster,' says Auto Review. 'The car is not only incredibly practical, it also looks tough. And that for a starting price of € 31,000,-.'

ATTRACTIVELY PRICED AND EQUIPPED WITH EFFICIENT POWERTRAINS

The new Bigster offers all the essential elements that price-conscious customers in the C-SUV segment desire and that fit the brand's positioning. The Bigster is built on the CMF-B platform, the core of Dacia's model strategy, with the flexibility to provide particularly generous interior space. Everything is designed to meet the demands of customers in the C-SUV segment in terms of: acoustics (sound-insulating windshield, thicker glass), finishing (high-quality carpeting, Touch LED interior lighting) and seating comfort (adjustable lumbar support also for the front passenger, adjustable rear seatback, etc.), along with optional dual-zone air conditioning in the front and ventilation grilles in the back.

The Bigster is available from € 31,000,- as a mild hybrid. The full hybrid version is available from € 35,300,-. For those looking for extra grip, the Hybrid G 150 4×4 version offers four-wheel drive. This version is available from € 40,100,- and is, according to Auto Review, 'a unique offering in its price range'.
