Celebratix in execution phase after new investment

After a previous investment round of €1.1 million at the end of 2024, Celebratix claims to be in the execution phase. The company now has 29 employees and operates from a new office at Leidseplein. The focus is on acquiring smaller ticket companies with a strong position in their region and migrating their customers to a central platform. "We are deliberately building step by step towards one European ticket platform that can compete with the major players," says Roskam. "We do this by specifically acquiring strong local parties."

Fragmented market

The European ticketing market consists of a large number of local players. According to Celebratix, there are about 300 companies that have often been active in their region for years. They have a loyal customer base, but limited opportunities for further growth. "Many local ticket companies have reached their maximum size," says Roskam. "We acquire these companies and transfer their customers to our platform. This way, organizers get one system for sales, access control, and resale, but with less manual work and more data insights."

Strong growth

In 2025, Celebratix's revenue increased tenfold. This rapid growth is a significant reason for Airbridge to invest and see a clear consolidation opportunity in this approach. "Celebratix combines strong growth with a clear acquisition strategy," says Rick van Boekel, Co-founder and Managing Partner at Airbridge Equity Partners. "The company now serves hundreds of locations and organizers in seven European countries. In a short time, Celebratix has built a solid position in the Benelux and expanded its presence in Germany, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Spain, and Portugal. The team demonstrates that it can not only grow quickly but also organize that growth in a structured manner."

Step towards more

In 2025, Celebratix acquired Compo Tickets from Maastricht. The investment from Airbridge is intended to accelerate this pace and serves as a stepping stone towards a Series A funding round in 2027. For 2026, Roskam aims for nine more acquisitions in several European countries. "We make clear agreements with founders and ensure a quick transition to one platform," says Roskam. "With targeted acquisitions in different European countries, we are building step by step towards a leading market position," says Roskam. "The Series A round in 2027 is intended to further strengthen that and lay the foundation for expansion into the United States."
