Music, entertainment, and charity come together again in Bietigheim-Bissingen
Fashion company OLYMP Bezner KG is organizing JAZZ IN OLYMP again on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the company grounds on Höpfigheimer Straße in Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany. The annual jazz festival traditionally takes place on Corpus Christi and this year has an extra festive character. OLYMP is celebrating its 75th anniversary, while JAZZ IN OLYMP is in its 22nd edition.
The entire proceeds from entrance fees, lottery tickets, and voluntary donations will again go to projects for children and youth supported by the OLYMP-Bezner-Stiftung
International jazz acts and live performances
The festival program starts at 11:00 AM with the Acoustic Trio Joachim Kunz, providing musical accompaniment throughout the day. Around noon, Doc’s Big Band, together with singer Sabine Petrich, will present classic big band music in the style of Glenn Miller.
From 1:30 PM, Denny Ilett and Colin Dawson will pay musical tribute to Frank Sinatra and the swing era of the 1950s and 60s.
One of the highlights follows at 3:00 PM with the OLYMP All Stars. Band leader Engelbert Wrobel (clarinet and saxophone) has once again assembled an international group of renowned jazz musicians, including Karl-Friedrich Fürst von Hohenzollern, Frits Landesbergen, Thilo Wagner, Bruce Adams, and Maolo Mazurie.
The festival will conclude from 5:00 PM with the Parisian formation Mama Shakers. The band combines jazz, blues, and country into an energetic live show that traditionally closes the festival in a festive atmosphere.
Presenter and WELT weatherwoman Maira Rothe will again guide visitors through the program.
Jazz as an entrepreneurial philosophy
Festival initiator Eberhard Bezner has seen jazz as more than just music for many years.
“For me, jazz is more than just music. It stands for spontaneity, passion, and the courage to take new paths,” says the 90-year-old entrepreneur. “With JAZZ IN OLYMP, we have built a cultural highlight for the Stuttgart region over the years. At the same time, we can support children and youth worldwide through the OLYMP-Bezner-Stiftung.”
This underscores not only OLYMP's cultural ambitions but also the social commitment of the family business.
More than just a music festival
In addition to live performances, JAZZ IN OLYMP also offers various activities offstage. Visitors can participate in a popular lottery with prizes from OLYMP's clothing collection, including shirts and polos.
Families with children also receive plenty of attention. There are bouncy castles available, and partner Happy Faces provides glitter tattoos and face painting activities.
Due to this combination of music, entertainment, and social engagement, JAZZ IN OLYMP has grown into a favorite among the public in the Stuttgart region in recent years.
OLYMP-Bezner-Stiftung supports youth worldwide
The OLYMP-Bezner-Stiftung was founded in 2008 by Eberhard Bezner, Mark Bezner, and Birgit Bezner-Fischer with an initial capital of one million euros.
The foundation supports international projects in education, healthcare, and vocational training for children and youth worldwide.
