Felton, the leading ICT company for designing, implementing, and managing high-quality and secure ICT infrastructures, announces today that Marnix van der Moolen (54) and Edwin van Korlaar (40) have been appointed as general and commercial directors. Stan Bridié remains part of the new management team. Through this path, the company aims to grow into one of the largest managed security service providers (MSSP) based in the Netherlands.

Last September, the companies Lantech (secure networks) and Felton (secure cloud) merged to continue under the name Felton. Over the past year, the focus of the new company has been on bringing together employees and developing new solutions and services. Now that Felton is done with this transition, it is time to scale further. Marnix van der Moolen brings about 20 years of experience in the IT sector in the area of financial and operational management. His last position was that of director of integration and cross-sell at the Vincere Group. Edwin van Korlaar brings over 15 years of Managed Services experience from various leading IT companies, such as Unica ICT Solutions and Xcellent. With his technical background, he excels at translating business issues into commercial propositions.

Felton offers as many of its solutions and services as possible through an MSSP model. This allows organizations from the mid-sized and large enterprise sector to be better supported during their transition to cloud-based infrastructures. Customers receive even more relief, control, security, and (financial) space, allowing them to focus on their core business. Of course, technology, craftsmanship, and customer intimacy will remain paramount. Current customers can also rely on a personal approach, with a dedicated team of specialists who like to operate as an extension of their organization, as they are used to from Felton. In the coming period, Felton will further develop its proposition, particularly for the healthcare sector, and continue to develop its security services and solutions.

Marnix van der Moolen, general director of Felton: "Organizations are currently facing enormous challenges when it comes to digitization. Felton is the party that can help organizations during their digital transition. It is a company where personal attention is paramount. In addition, it has a wide range of knowledge in-house in the areas of cloud managed services, networking, and cybersecurity."

"Felton is an organization with enormous growth ambitions and I can't wait to contribute to this," says Edwin van Korlaar, commercial director of Felton. "The company has undergone an impressive transition in a relatively short time. It is now time to further scale Felton and work on new innovative solutions for our customers. I look forward to realizing this with the entire team."

Stan Bridié, board member at Felton: "Since the merger, enormous steps have been taken to make Felton one family. I believe this has succeeded, and therefore it is now time to further expand the company. Both Marnix van der Moolen and Edwin van Korlaar are a tremendous asset to our company. They have proven themselves as drivers of improvement and innovation. I therefore expect this new management team to further professionalize Felton at both technological, commercial, and operational levels, so that we can take new steps."
