Employers, cyber professionals, the education sector, and students met during an internship and job fair and a Cyber Security Next Gen! session with emerging cybersecurity talent.
Young talent
During an internship and job fair, students in Forensic ICT were connected with cybersecurity companies. The Cyber Security Next Gen! meeting addressed the abuse of cloud services for malware and included an interactive panel discussion with cybersecurity prosecutor Lodewijk van Zwieten; Douwe Mik, partner in cybersecurity at EY; and Nander Hokwerda, CTO of HackersHub.
Additionally, there were mini-workshops with cybersecurity experts from RedSocks Security, Thales, EY, Compumatica, Strict, iGem TU Delft, HackersHub, Justice in Practice where 150 cybersecurity students from vocational and university education from across the country worked on a safer Netherlands.
