With 'Tikkie Business', companies now have a separate app to create, send, and quickly receive payments for business Tikkies. The new app provides entrepreneurs with real-time insight into the status of all their payments. The arrival of 'Tikkie Business' is a result of the rapid growth in the number of business users of Tikkie, which now counts over 25,000 companies.

Thanks to the new app from Tikkie Business, it becomes even easier for entrepreneurs to quickly and easily send Tikkies. Companies can share their payment requests via WhatsApp, SMS, email, or a QR code at lightning speed with customers. While a Tikkie among consumers averages around 30 euros, this rises to an average of 80 euros for a business Tikkie. The limit for entrepreneurs is set at 50,000 euros. The new app is suitable for a wide range of companies, particularly in the form of sole proprietorships and SMEs. The group of business customers is very diverse, including window cleaners, mechanics, cheese farmers, childcare centers, and accounting offices. But also companies like Dekamarkt, DHL, and BUX. "The big advantage of Tikkie Business compared to other payment methods - such as sending invoices - is that payments are made very quickly," says Moreno Kensmil, head of Marketing at Tikkie. "No less than 80 percent of business Tikkies are paid within 24 hours. This is mainly due to the ease of payment: customers do not need to enter invoice details and can pay directly via a link. Moreover, many users are accustomed to the payment speed of Tikkie, thanks to the use of the app in their private lives."

In practice

An entrepreneur who uses Tikkie for business is Sam Hilhorst, owner of Hilhorst glass cleaning. Hilhorst: "I have been using Tikkie for over a year now. Thanks to Tikkie, my invoices are paid much faster. I also no longer have a pile of cash. Customers tell me that Tikkie offers a bit of convenience, as they no longer have to retype details. It is also convenient for my staff, as they have an overview of who has and hasn't paid, and everyone can use it. In short: I am very happy with it and a satisfied user!"

Business market on the rise

Since the launch of Tikkie, the business functionality has experienced significant growth. With the new app from Tikkie Business, Tikkie builds on this success. "We expect that with our new app Tikkie Business, we can make payments even easier. Since the launch of the eponymous functionality, we have reached tens of thousands of business users," says Moreno Kensmil, head of Marketing at Tikkie. "We are proud that many Dutch companies have found their way to Tikkie, and the launch of this app is a nice proof of the further growth and development of Tikkie."
