At Santander Consumer Finance, self-employed individuals without personnel can now easily take out a personal loan of up to 25,000 euros for things like purchasing a car or financing a renovation*.
Santander Consumer Finance receives many requests from freelancers to create more financial space for personal use. And where it was previously difficult for freelancers to obtain a cash credit for personal use, that is starting to change. The spokesperson for Santander explains: "The number of freelancers in the Dutch labor market has increased enormously in recent years. We at Santander Consumer Finance are well aware of this and want to help and support these successful self-employed individuals".
While it was previously possible at Santander Consumer Finance for freelancers to take out a loan of up to €5,000, freelancers can now take out a personal loan from Santander starting at €1,000 up to €25,000 from the age of 28. This only concerns loans that the self-employed individual takes out for personal use. "So for example for the renovation of your own house or for the purchase of a vacation camper, but not for the purchase of, for example, a company car or other business purposes," says Santander.
