The Jeep Avenger is a contemporary translation of the brand's DNA while being innovative in its class. The model is designed and built in Europe for European customers. With this formula, the Jeep Avenger sets a new standard in the B-SUV segment. The model offers capabilities that were previously unprecedented in this class, combined with the character and appearance of a compact, contemporary SUV. This concept was awarded the prestigious title of Car of the Year 2023.

So far, more than 270,000 Avengers have been sold in Europe, of which about 60 percent are electrified. The Jeep Avenger is currently the best-selling SUV in Italy and ranks among the leading models in the European B-SUV segment, the second largest segment in Europe.

New Jeep Avenger: evolution from the DNA

Since its market introduction, the Jeep Avenger has been continuously developed. Based on practical experience and customer feedback, targeted adjustments have been made in recent model years in the areas of technology, comfort, and quality perception. The focus has been on ease of use, safety, and a higher degree of refinement, without losing the original, robust character of the Avenger.

The updates implemented include software improvements, a new onboard charger, and various adjustments to chassis components, closures, and seals. These adjustments contribute to further minimizing vibrations and road noise. For this facelift of the Avenger, additional optimizations have been made, including to the closure and sealing of the tailgate.

Design follows function and family feeling: inspiration for style renewal

The seven-slot grille is an essential part of the Jeep family feeling. In the new Jeep Avenger, this feature is enhanced by LED lighting. This detail, inspired by the new Compass, makes the grille visible and instantly recognizable in traffic at night. This feature is standard on the higher trims and underscores innovation and modernity. At the same time, the appearance aligns better with the rest of the Jeep range. The illuminated grille thus forms the new signature of the Avenger.

'Design follows function' remains the guiding principle of Jeep design. Characteristic style elements such as protective parts applied around, recessed headlights, and 'molded-in-color' skid plates help prevent damage from minor contact. The new Jeep Avenger renews this 360-degree protection with modified bumpers. In the 4xe version, these are complemented by vertical red accents at the front and the Jeep Shield.

New exterior elements include newly designed 17- and 18-inch alloy wheels, finished in paint or diamond-cut, and new hubcaps featuring a stylized Jeep Willys profile.

The color palette of the new Jeep Avenger has been expanded with two completely new shades: Forest and Bamboo. These are added to Granite, Ruby, Snow, Storm, and Volcano. The names emphasize the brand's strong connection to nature. For an extra personal touch, a black roof is available as an option.

The interior has also been updated. The goal is to improve the appearance, material feel, and finish of all surfaces. The quality perception is thus among the top in the segment:

  • The door panels are made of softer material
  • The lower part of the dashboard features a padded insert
  • The Altitude and Summit trims receive new premium upholstery made of fabric and vinyl
  • The 4xe version features a new green interior with extra easy-to-clean and durable materials

The operation of the Jeep Selec Terrain system is now framed in red and features a rubber coating, making it more visible and easy to operate. With Selec Terrain, the driver can adjust the driving mode to the terrain. This is done via specific settings for the accelerator pedal, transmission, traction and stability control, steering, and in the 4xe also torque management.

Leading off-road capabilities combined with advanced technology for the road: new LED matrix headlights and 360° parking view

The uncompromising Jeep capabilities are guaranteed across all versions, including the front-wheel-drive variants. This is thanks to optimized off-road angles – up to 22° approach angle, 21° breakover angle, and 35° departure angle – and a ground clearance of up to 210 millimeters.

Performance on any terrain and in all weather conditions is further enhanced by the Jeep Selec Terrain system and Hill Descent Control, which are standard on all versions.

The Jeep Avenger already features technology that ranks among the best in the segment, and now also includes LED matrix headlights. This new system provides a safer and more relaxed driving experience, with better visibility at night, improved lighting of the road shoulders, and optimal lighting in curves. The beam automatically adjusts to traffic and speed without driver intervention. This reduces stress and eye fatigue.

Thanks to an additional front camera, the new Jeep Avenger also offers a 360° view, which simplifies parking maneuvers and helps prevent minor damage. Once the cameras are activated, a digital overhead view of the car and its immediate surroundings is displayed on the touchscreen. Depending on the situation, the system automatically selects the best perspective and zoom level. The driver can manually adjust this view at any time.

Complete freedom of choice between e-Hybrid, 4xe Hybrid, and Full Electric

Jeep leaves the choice to the customer. The new Jeep Avenger is available with various electrified powertrains, front- or all-wheel drive, and always with an automatic transmission.

The e-Hybrid powertrain features a turbo engine with variable geometry and Miller cycle, combined with a quiet and efficient distribution chain. The engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission with dual clutch, integrated electric motor, and a 48V/0.9 kWh lithium-ion battery. This allows for up to one kilometer of fully electric driving at speeds of up to 30 km/h.

For those seeking maximum off-road capabilities and optimal grip on the road, there is the 145 hp 4xe version with all-wheel drive. This variant combines an electrified automatic transmission, a gasoline engine in the front, and an electric motor in the rear, which can deliver up to 1,900 Nm of torque to the rear wheels. This allows the Jeep Avenger 4xe to conquer slopes of up to 40 percent on gravel and up to 20 percent when the front axle has no grip.

Customers who choose smooth and quiet driving will find the most advanced technology in the 156 hp Full Electric. This features a battery with a gross capacity of 54 kWh, charging options up to 100 kW DC and 11 kW AC, and a range of up to 400 kilometers (WLTP).

New Jeep Avenger: distinctive features standard

The new Jeep Avenger offers advanced features in terms of capabilities, connectivity, comfort, and safety across all trims. Standard equipment includes full-LED headlights, automatic high beams, keyless start, cruise control, and automatic air conditioning.

The 10.25-inch Uconnect infotainment system features wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a customizable interface, and over-the-air updates. With the Jeep app, users can check the car's location, lock and unlock the doors, view the battery level, schedule charging, and activate climate control remotely via their smartphone.

The square trunk offers a capacity of up to 380 liters, a wide loading opening, and a loading threshold height of 730 millimeters for easy access. The reversible loading floor is designed with a washable and easy-to-clean surface on one side.

The well-organized and flexible storage compartments in the interior provide a total capacity of up to 34 liters. Covers for mobile devices make the center console modular and reconfigurable across all trims.

Fully equipped from the base model, extra freedom of choice in higher trims

The various trims allow for the new Jeep Avenger to be configured based on personal taste and use. For the front-wheel-drive versions, the Longitude trim is available with all previously mentioned features, Altitude as a mid-range option, and Summit as the top trim.

The 4xe version with all-wheel drive is distinguished by greater ground clearance, a black Jeep Shield, red accents in the front bumper, LED fog lights, roof rails, and a red tow hook at the rear. This version is available as Upland, based on the Altitude trim, and as Overland, with a very complete equipment list.

Additionally, various equipment packages are available, as well as standalone options such as the exclusive open-air panoramic roof, the hands-free electrically operated tailgate, and – on the fully electric version – a heat pump. To further personalize the Jeep Avenger, there is also a wide range of accessories and customization options, including two new hood stickers.

The new Jeep Avenger Special Edition in honor of the 85th anniversary of the brand

The introductory version of the Jeep Avenger 85th Anniversary is inspired by the rich history of the brand and features exclusive design details that mark the anniversary.

On the outside, 85th Anniversary logos on the fenders refer to Jeep heritage. Bumpers and wheels with a gold finish emphasize the anniversary character, while a tartan hood sticker and the "85 Years of Adventure" logo symbolize freedom and adventure.

The interior also has its own signature. The specially designed seats are upholstered in tartan fabric and feature the 85th Anniversary logo, symbolizing the enduring passion for the open-air feeling. Gold stitching on the seats and dashboard enhances the exclusive character of this version.

The Jeep Avenger 85th Anniversary is intended for enthusiasts who want to celebrate the brand's anniversary, but also for drivers who value an SUV with a distinctive design.

The Jeep Avenger 85th Anniversary shares its equipment level with the Altitude (or Upland in the 4xe version) and is visually distinguished by specific features such as a lit seven-slot grille, special logos on the fenders, and 18-inch wheels with a gold finish. The 4xe version is also characterized by a specific hood sticker.

For maximum safety and protection, LED matrix headlights, LED fog lights, and a front camera with a 360° view are standard.

The interior is further enriched with multi-colored ambient lighting, a specific cover for the center console, upholstery with a tartan pattern, and fabric/vinyl seats with the 85th logo.

Standard up to 8 years warranty -> Jeep® Care Special Warranty

The new Jeep Avenger also qualifies for the free '8 years Jeep Care Special Warranty'. The condition is that the prescribed maintenance is carried out by an authorized repairer within the official Jeep network. With each service, the warranty is automatically extended by one year – up to a maximum of 8 years or 160,000 kilometers, depending on which comes first. The Jeep Care Special Warranty falls under the standard level of the warranty program and covers both parts and labor costs for addressing mechanical and electrical defects. Wear parts such as tires and windshield wiper blades are excluded from the warranty.

The new Jeep Avenger is available to order immediately. The consumer prices start at € 34,995, with e-Hybrid and Full Electric priced the same across trims. The first deliveries to customers are expected in September. More information about the new Jeep Avenger can be found at jeep.nl.
