With this expansion, LATAM underscores the strategic importance of the Dutch market and its broader commitment in Northern Europe. The decision to increase capacity before the official launch reflects confidence in market demand and strong interest in this new connection between Europe and South America.

Strengthening connectivity between Europe and South America with Amsterdam - São Paulo

"The expansion of the number of flights on the Amsterdam – São Paulo route underscores our commitment to further strengthen connectivity between Europe and South America and to respond to the growing demand for travel between both regions," said Thibaud Morand, General Manager of LATAM Airlines for Europe, Asia, and Oceania. "São Paulo is an important hub within our network, allowing passengers easy access to a wide range of destinations in Brazil and the rest of the continent."

Starting April 18, flights from Amsterdam will operate six times a week, on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 13:10, arriving in São Paulo the same day at 20:20 local time. This schedule is aligned with smooth connections to more than 50 destinations within Brazil and to the major capitals in South America. This further strengthens the role of Guarulhos as one of the key hubs in the region.

São Paulo as a gateway to South America

São Paulo, one of the most dynamic and cosmopolitan cities in Latin America, combines its position as the main economic engine of Brazil with an internationally recognized cultural, gastronomic, and artistic scene. The city is not only a strategic destination for business travelers but also an ideal gateway to explore the natural and cultural diversity of South America through the extensive LATAM network.

The route will be operated with a Boeing 787-9, equipped with 30 seats in Business Class and 270 in Economy Class. Passengers will benefit from a modern and comfortable travel experience, including high-quality meals on board and an advanced in-flight entertainment system.

With this expansion, LATAM Airlines strengthens its growth in Europe and enhances the airline's position in terms of international connectivity. At the same time, it increases travel options for both business travelers and vacationers, further strengthening the air bridge between Europe and South America.
