Juni, the financial partner for ecommerce companies, is entering the next phase of growth today. With a doubling of the number of customers and an increase in card spending per quarter over the past year, as well as a team expansion of 644% in 2021, Juni has no intention of slowing down. Within a year of launching the platform, Juni is now emerging from the beta phase. The company is introducing new product features and integrations, as well as a rebranding as Juni expands its offerings in Europe.

Juni's platform brings together physical and digital payment cards, credit cards, accounting, financial analytics, and digital advertising platforms. The goal is to provide entrepreneurs
a clear and complete overview of all their expenses. Online sales are expected to reach $7.4 trillion by 2025. This presents enormous growth opportunities and indicates a clear demand for a tailored solution to help businesses scale.

On the occasion of the launch, Juni introduces:

  • In addition to GBP and Euro, Juni now also offers payment accounts and cards in USD, the most requested feature by customers. With Juni's USD accounts, ecommerce companies and digital marketers can now optimize their finances even better by using as many digital USD Mastercard cards as needed.
  • A new integration with Google Ads that provides a seamless experience that saves a lot of time and hassle. This integration enables real-time insights into Google Ads spending, as well as automated invoice processing and the generation and matching of payment receipts for threshold amounts.
  • A new brand with a powerful visual identity and a fresh website, logo, and color palette to capture Juni's brand identity. Additionally, Juni launches "Bye bye bank", a creative campaign that brings to life the frustrations of ecommerce companies in their dealings with traditional banks through a series of commercials and striking print and outdoor advertisements in key locations across Europe.

With its cashback on all expenses, Juni has already paid out more than 1 million euros in total. Additionally, the company aims to pay out 10 million euros in cashback over the coming year to help businesses with their growth.

"We are familiar with the challenges ecommerce companies face, as we have experienced the same frustrations ourselves," says Samir El-Sabini, co-founder and CEO of Juni. "That is why we founded Juni. We addressed these issues and turned them into a product. It is our passion to create a new way of finance. We want to provide our customers with the right integrations, features, and insights so they can make better business decisions and operate at scale. This launch is an incredibly proud moment for us, and we are excited to continue our growth alongside our amazing customers."

Juni integrates with the accounting software Moneybird and banks such as ABN AMRO, ING, Rabobank, and Bunq, in addition to 14 other Dutch banks. This allows businesses to get a complete overview of their payments from Juni's platform.

With its all-in-one solution tailored to the specific needs of a rapidly growing market for ecommerce and digital marketing, Juni has received more than $76 million in funding to date. Key investors include EQT, partners of DST Global, Felix Capital, and Cherry Ventures, alongside renowned angel investors and board members of very successful fintechs and ecommerce companies such as iZettle, Klarna, and NA-KD. Furthermore, Juni has rapidly expanded its workforce, resulting in the company being the fastest-growing fintech startup of 2021 in Europe. Currently, there are employees in 30 countries, and as Juni has no intention of stopping its growth, the goal is to grow the workforce by 200% year-on-year. By 2022, more than 140 additional employees will be hired.
