In 2025, Batavia Stad welcomed a large number of new national and international brands, further enriching the Centre's retail offering. A total of 38 openings took place, of which 21 brands are new to the Centre. The remaining 17 stores reopened after a renovation or relocation within Batavia Stad.
Chris Janse, Centre Director Batavia Stad Fashion Outlet: '2025 was a special year for Batavia Stad. I am proud of all the new openings: from beautiful fashion brands we have been able to welcome, to the expansion of popular brands and the arrival of new hospitality additions. Thanks to our renewed and more diverse offering, visitors can now shop even better during a complete day out. We have once again elevated the overall experience this year, and that success motivates us to continue this line into 2026.'
New stores strengthen diverse and complete offering
The fashion and lifestyle offering has been expanded this past year with strong additions. One of the most notable openings is the scaling up of outdoor brand The North Face, which has moved to a prominent flagship store of over 300 m² due to its great success within the Centre. Coach, known for its leather goods, handbags, and accessories, opened its doors last summer. In December, Selected established itself with an extensive collection of women's and men's fashion.
The homewear segment has also been significantly expanded: with the openings of Iittala, Sissy-Boy, and Aquanova, the Centre now offers an even stronger and more varied selection. Additionally, The Cosmetics Company has enriched Batavia Stad with a comprehensive beauty concept, featuring premium brands such as Jo Malone, Tom Ford, and La Mer.

Hospitality offering further expanded
In addition to the expansion of retail, the food & beverage offering has also been further strengthened. With the arrival of the Mediterranean restaurant Ekmekci and De Ruyter Vis, shoppers have even more choices for a tasty break during shopping. Starbucks moved to a larger location with a bigger terrace. The Fashion Café has also relocated and introduces a completely renewed concept, allowing visitors to enjoy it all day long. The extensive menu ranges from petit fours to lunch and from coffee to cocktails.
Collaborations and activations
To keep the offering and activities in the Centre surprising throughout the year, Batavia Stad collaborated with various partners and brands in 2025. Visitors could shop at The Wonderful Store pop-up in collaboration with Disney and take photos in Disney's magical photo booths, participate in activities from Upfront and Bloomon, and admire Max Verstappen's RB21 up close. In collaboration with lifestyle platforms such as ELLE and &C, various media events were also realized, including the ELLE Shopping Days and &C styling sessions in the Centre.
