The Hanseatic League: Living History as Brand Experience
The Hanseatic League is a group dedicated to reviving historical professions and crafts. In collaboration with Muiderslot, they ensure that festival visitors can get acquainted with a large number of medieval techniques and customs, from rope-making to the creation of chainmail, and from bookbinding to making (medieval) ceramics.
The festival is all about interaction. No glass display cases, but a blacksmith who tells live stories about weapons and tools.
